Why Riverside Reset

Grounded, accessible healing

Rather than an intense or overly structured experience, Riverside Reset is designed to support nervous system healing, emotional restoration, and inner balance. The riverside sanctuary becomes part of the healing itself, birdsong, flowing water, tropical greenery, slow mornings and golden sunsets. Alongside yoga and meditation, we weave together practices that support holistic wellbeing:

  • Breathwork for emotional release and clarity

  • A sound healing journey to calm the nervous system

  • An inner child healing workshop for self-compassion

  • Gentle movement and yin yoga for deep restoration

  • Meditation and pranayama for grounding and presence

Guests may also book massages and additional healing therapies with experienced therapists throughout the retreat, allowing for deeper rest and personalised care.

Prianca Shharma, retreat leader at Jaali River Sanctuary
Retreat leader

Prianca Shharma

Born and raised in India, I carry yoga in my roots, but it wasn't until I lost myself that I truly found its essence.

Before I became a teacher, I was an actress, chasing perfection on the outside while feeling deeply lost within. When depression touched my life, yoga became the light that led me home, helping me rebuild from the inside out.

What began as a search for healing became a way of living. Over the past fourteen years, yoga and meditation have transformed my path, guiding me from performance to presence, from pain to purpose.

I believe that each person has a unique and deeply personal relationship with yoga. No two bodies, histories, or hearts are the same, and neither should anyone's practice be. My teaching is rooted in the traditional Indian understanding that yoga is not a one-size-fits-all path, but a living, breathing journey that honours diversity in every form.

Whether I am guiding Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, or Yin, my intention is to meet each student exactly where they are. I teach with presence, sensitivity, and curiosity, offering variations, functional alignment, and mindful adjustments that respect the individuality of every practitioner. Rather than shaping students to fit the practice, I shape the practice to support the student.
